Give your Italian forces some real armoured support!

The P40 was the pinnacle of Italian armour development, and finally gave Italy's tankers a vehicle roughly on a par with the ubiquitous Sherman, pairing a 75mm gun with decent armour and mobility. Unfortunately, only a handful had been built by the time of the Armistice of Cassabile in September 1943, these vehicles taking part in the defence of Rome. Although late to the party, the P40 was nevertheless a decent tank, and Germany ordered production continued in the RSI after the armistice. The majority of these vehicles would see service in German hands, although production was limited in scope.

On the Bolt Action tabletop, the P40 gives your Italian (or German!) forces a solid all-rounder tank, with a 9+ Damage Value and Medium Anti-Tank gun making it capable of engaging both enemy armour and infantry with a reasonable expectation of success.
